An immersive exploration into the art of storytelling using the lens and style of Hip Hop Theatre through lyrical beatboxing and physical storytelling. Two River audiences will remember Chesney’s incredible beatboxing as the Vocal Foley artist in last season’s Oo-Bla-Dee. Chesney Snow is a Drama Desk award-winning New York City based theatre artist known for originating the role of Boxman in the off-Broadway and Broadway productions of the a cappella musical In Transit. Snow has taught workshops and master classes at Yale University, Harvard University, Juilliard School, and New York University, to name a few. He blends the worlds of beatboxing, hip hop, and oral storytelling exploring both the physical, poetic, sonic elements of each.
