JJ Maley

JJ Maley (they/he/ze) is a trans nonbinary Tony-winning producer, actor, writer, director, and consultant. They recently filmed a TBA mini-series, starred in a short film called Run For It, and recorded the Audio/Visual Album as the part of Max in Love is Love is Love: The Musical. JJ made their Broadway debut as a Producer on Indecent (Tony Nomination) by Paula Vogel. Their recent shows on Broadway include Be More Chill, A Strange Loop (Tony Winner), and What the Constitution Means to Me (Tony Nomination). JJ is also the consultant on an upcoming Amazon series and consulting with nonprofits on gender topics and representation. They are directing an upcoming project called Always A Boy based on the novel by Jo Ivester. He was in The Academy for improv and Advanced Study Sketch at UCB. They performed with We Will Slay and Slow Fuse at UCB Hell’s Kitchen. Currently, JJ works as the Director of Entertainment at Lavender Entertainment.
