Annie returns to her estranged birthplace of Buenos Aires to undergo IVF treatments from the famed Dr. Cossi. But her motherhood journey brings to light the lives of two women lost to the Dirty War decades ago. Past and present intertwine as four women hunt down their destiny. A World Premiere debut by a powerful new voice, ¡VOS! is an exhilarating quest for justice, family and home.

Christina Pumariega

Christina Pumariega Christina Pumariega acts and writes. Often simultaneously. ¡VOS! was developed at Ojai Playwrights Conference, and is a recipient of the Edgerton Foundation New Play Award. Other plays include JOAN DARK (Colorado New Play Summit), HARBOR GIRLS and HER MATH PLAY (EST/Sloan Grant). An O’Neill NPC finalist for the last three years, Christina’s work has been developed at Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater, the New Harmony Project, the Lark, New Georges, Hartford Stage Company and Ammunition Theatre Company. She is currently under commission with the Denver Center and Two River Theater, and will attend Hedgebrook in fall 2025.

TV writing credits include “Turner & Hooch” (Disney+) and “Bluff City Law” (NBC).

Acting on and Off-Broadway and in television and film, Pumariega has cross examined Coach Taylor, made out with the Fly and set a Cuban pharmacy ablaze in a corset. MFA,  NYU Graduate Acting Program. www.christinapumariega.com

Alexandra Silber

Alexandra Silber is an actress, singer, and author. In London’s West End she played starring roles Indecent, The Woman in White, Fiddler on the Roof, Kiss Me Kate, and Carousel. In New York she’s appeared in Our Class, The Merchant of Venice, Hello Again, The Lucky Star, Arlington, and the Broadway revivals of Master Class and Fiddler on the Roof. Regional Theatre credits include the World Premiere casts of Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me a Soprano, and Murder on the Orient Express; and also leading roles in The Music ManCabaretCamelotA Midsummer Night’s Dream CarouselMaster Class and Love Story. Alexandra is a Grammy-nominee for her portrayal of Maria in the San Francisco Symphony recording of West Side Story. Alexandra’s debut novel “After Anatevka,” and memoir “White Hot Grief Parade” are published by Pegasus Books and available on Audible.com. Training: Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.  www.alexandrasilber.net  @alsilbs

Nicole A. Watson

Nicole A. Watson is a freelance director and educator. Credits include the world premieres of Kevin R. Free’s Night of The Living N-Word, Johnna Adams’ World Builders (CATF), and the opera Approaching Ali (Washington National Opera). She has also directed productions of The Great Society (Asolo Rep)  Our Lady of Kibeho (Smith College), Joe Turner’s Come and Gone (North Carolina School of the Arts), and The Mountaintop (Kitchen Theater). She is a frequent volunteer with the 52nd Street Project and has worked at the Lark Play Development Center, New Dramatists, Signature Theatre, the Public Theater, Working Theater, and The Fire this Time Festival. Nicole has taught at NYU, the Tribeca Film Institute, and the St. Louis Language Immersion School. Raquel Barreto

Raquel Barreto  (Costume Design) (she/her) is a theater artist from Brazil who designs costumes for new and classic plays with a focus on bringing to light stories of migration and cross-cultural experiences. She has worked extensively at the Alley Theatre in Houston (five seasons), the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (six seasons), and the Guthrie Theater (five seasons), among others. Recent credits include Cebollas (Denver Center), Art (Guthrie Theater), A Christmas Carol (Alley Theater), and Papakō, the Journey (Teatro Vivo/Indigenous Cultures Institute.) Raquel’s designs have been on stage at Theatre For A New Audience (TFANA); Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Mark Taper Forum; St. Louis Rep; Actors Theatre of Louisville; California Shakespeare Theater; Arena Stage; Portland Center Stage; Berkeley Repertory; Syracuse Stage; Pasadena Playhouse; the Geffen; The Los Angeles Philharmonic; Cornerstone Theater; Latino Theater Company, and many others. Kelly Colburn (Projection Designer) (she/they/k): is an multidisciplinary artist working as a producer, director, projections designer, and devised performance maker in the DC Area (Piscataway/Nacotchtank lands). She is the Executive Director at Flying V, a Media/Projections faculty member at The University of Maryland College, and a two-time Helen Hayes recipient.
