Brandon Micheal Hall made his Broadway debut originating the role of John Nevins in Alice Childress’s Trouble in Mind at Roundabout Theatre Company. His theater credits also include Suzan-Lori Parks’s Topdog/Underdog (Lincoln, Pasadena Playhouse), for which he and the company received the NAACP Theatre Award for Best Ensemble, the World Premiere of Transfers, and The Comedy of Errors (Antipholus of Syracuse, The Old Globe). His Broadway role and principal theater credits are reflected in industry and theater records. On television, Brandon starred as Miles Finer in the CBS drama “God Friended Me” and as Courtney Rose in ABC’s “The Mayor.” His additional television credits include “Search Party,” “Poker Face,” “Chloe,” “Power,” “Broad City,” “The Characters,” “Unforgettable,” and “I Love LA.” His film credits include The Surrogate, The Young Wife, Girl Haunts Boy, Audrey’s Children, Micro Budget, Always a Bridesmaid, Monster Party, and Lez Bomb. He also voiced Cyborg in the animated feature Injustice and has performed in scripted podcast productions including The Burned Photo and The Courtship of Mona Mae. Originally from Anderson, South Carolina, Brandon trained at the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, the British American Drama Academy, and The Juilliard School. While still a Juilliard student, he landed a leading role in the CBS pilot “LFE,” opposite Melissa Leo. Across stage and screen, he is drawn to ambitious, character-driven stories that combine humor, humanity, and social insight. He is grateful to the artists, audiences, family, friends, and collaborators who continue to support his journey.
