Elaán Battiste

is 11 years old and hails from Sacramento, California. She is thrilled to be making her Two River Theater debut under the direction of her father. While she has performed leading roles in other Sacramento-based community theater productions, this is her second professional theatrical role. Previously, she appeared in When We Were Colored (Young Ginger/Lil’ Eva, The Guild Theater). She also performed the leading roles in two separate church plays: Finding Wisdom (Clarity), God’s Plan for a Little Star (Little Star), as well as her school’s Spring 2026 musical, Disney Jr.’s 101 Dalmatians (Perdita). She is a young lady of many interests, talents, and curiosities; she’s a voracious reader and loves creative writing, drawing, music, singing, dancing, performing with her two brothers, creating and directing her own home videos, arts and crafts, playing ukulele and piano, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family. She excels at Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai, as well as playing shortstop and center field on her little league baseball team. Elaán is homeschooled and beginning her 7th grade year this Fall. In addition to continuing her acting journey, she aspires to be a filmmaker, a New York Times best-selling author, and a civil rights attorney one day. She would like to thank God, her parents and family for all that she is and all that she is to become!
