What Health & Safety protocols will be in place for Experiment Time?

The safety of our patrons, staff and artists is our number one priority. As such, full COVID-19 vaccination* OR negative COVID-19 PCR test result will be required to attend Experiment Time with Hasan Minhaj. For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 PCR test result must be obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of attending your Two River Theater performance. Please note: Two River Theater will follow any forthcoming state mandates related to Covid-19 that may be released as your performance date nears and will inform you of these changes.

*full vaccination meaning at least 14 days after your second dose of an FDA or WHO authorized two dose COVID-19 vaccine, or at least 14 days after your single dose of an FDA or WHO authorized single dose COVID-19 vaccine.

Venue Health & Safety Protocols:

  • All surfaces will be sanitized before the arrival of any patrons and between performances
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the theater
  • All staff will be wearing masks
  • Two River Theater is following CDC and ASHRAE recommendations for indoor ventilation
  • Our HVAC equipment is serviced, and filters are changed quarterly
  • By their presence all audience members agree that they are not sick and have not been in contact with anyone with symptoms or a confirmed case of COVID-19 during the 10 days prior to their performance.

Two River Theater’s reopening safety plans have been created using CDC, state and local government mandated practices, in consultation with medical professionals through Keeping America Safe: Hackensack Meridian Health’s Assist Program and Intelligent Crowd Solutions. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present.  COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death.  According to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By attending Experiment Time, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.  Help keep each other healthy.

What are the Entry Requirements and Procedures for Experiment Time?

As such, full COVID-19 vaccination* OR negative COVID-19 PCR test result will be required to attend Experiment Time with Hasan Minhaj. For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 PCR test result must be obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of attending your Two River Theater performance.

Experiment Time Entry Procedures: Patrons who do not comply with these procedures will be denied entry.
Please note: Two River Theater will follow any forthcoming state mandates related to Covid-19 that may be released as your performance date nears and will inform you of these changes.

  1. Vaccine Card or Vaccine Record: Bring a printed copy of your Vaccine Card, Vaccine Record, or have digital image of either pulled up on your device and ready to show as you approach the theater’s entrance.
    OR
    Negative Covid-19 PCR test result: If presenting a negative COVID-19 PCR test, results must be obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of your performance. Test results must be provided through an official document from a doctor’s office, pharmacy or testing site.
  2. Photo ID: All members of your party must present a valid photo ID in conjunction with their Vaccine Card, Vaccine Report, or Covid-19 PCR test.
  3. Masks are strongly encouraged. All Two River Theater staff members will be wearing masks.

As a New Jersey theatergoer, I pledge to play my part to ensure a safe, enjoyable theatre experience for all:

      • I will follow all theater safety guidelines
      • I will respect other guests’ safety comfort levels
      • I will stay at home if I’m not feeling well
      • I will visit my local theater’s website before each performance I attend for the most current safety guidelines
      • I will follow all theater safety guidelines & posted instructions while attending an event

Are masks required for this indoor event?

Masks wearing is strongly encouraged. Masks will be worn by all TRT staff members.

What if I am not feeling well?

By your presence at in-person performances and events, you agree that you are not sick and have not been in contact with anyone with symptoms or a confirmed case of COVID-19 during the 10 days prior to your performance. If anyone in your party tests positive for, or exhibits symptoms of COVID-19 at any time within 10 days of your performance, please contact the box office. You will have the option to exchange your ticket into another performance, have a credit placed on your Two River Theater account, donate the cost of your ticket back to the theater, or receive a refund. For the health of all patrons, artists, and staff of Two River Theater, we ask that you keep everyone’s health under consideration.

How will ticketing and seating work for Experiment Time?

Two River’s Rechnitz Theater has 349 seats spread across 11 rows. We will be selling tickets at 100% capacity for this performance. To view the seating map click here.

Are cell phones allowed in the theater?

This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones, smart watches and accessories, will not be permitted in the performance space.

Upon arrival at the venue, all phones, smart watches and accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times, and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space.

All pouches and equipment will be sanitized prior to individual use. The Yondr staff is trained and required to follow safety guidelines and hygiene protocols to practice social distancing, minimal contact and wear required personal protective equipment.

Anyone seen using a device (phone, smart watch or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the venue. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free experience.
