I am watching: Ozark on Netflix, Psych on Amazon, Derry Girls on Netflix, Brooklyn-99 on Hulu

My favorite books that I’ve read in quarantine were: Dodger, by Terry Pratchett; The Starless Sea, By Erin Morgenstern, The Art of Theft, by Sherry Thomas, A Prince on Paper, by Alyssa Cole. I’ve been alternately binging watching: The Mentalist and Community.

I’m reading: A Short Walk by Alice Childress! I really loved watching: Upload on Amazon Prime, Hollywood on Netflix and Avenue 5 on HBO.

I read: Untamed by Glennon Doyle and watched: Schitt’s Creek and Better Things!

I’ve been reading: Many radio play scrips from the 1940s, and the novel that The Shadow is based on called The Living Shadow by Walter B. Gibson. I have also been reading: Drop the Rock by Fred H. and Storm of Steel by Ernst Jünger, about a soldier’s experience in the trenches of WWI.

For laughs I’ve been watching: Schitt’s Creek and The Office. On a more dramatic note I’ve been watching: The Tudors and Medici (I LOVE my historical fictions). To get my art fix: Weekly YouTube streams from The National Theatre in London and Barnes Takeout: Your Daily Serving of Art. A daily 10-minute YouTube video exploring one piece of art from the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia.

So far I’ve read: Soulless and Changeless by Gail Carriger, Flour Water Salt Yeast by Ken Forkish, La Belle Sauvage by Philip Pullman, Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan and Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry.

We’ve been doing a lot of reading and desperately trying to keep the preschooler entertained: The Narwhal and Jelly series (pictured above with puppets made to go with the books). Books about space and planets (pictured above with toilet paper tube rocket ships.) Ray Sheehan’s cookbook—it’s so good! I’m binge watching: Community on Netflix, and many many many shows on the PBS kids app—Daniel Tiger and Wild Krats.  And listening to podcast: Fresh Air and The New Yorker podcast.

My fave reads are: Star-Crossed by Minnie Darke and The Hating Game by Sally Thorne. Me and the family are watching franchise movie marathons: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Star Trek. I’m also hooked on watching:The Inheritors—a Korean drama on Netflix.

I’ve been watching documentaries: Unorthodox, Crip Camp, American Factory. I’m also watching: Ricky Gervais’s dark comedy After Life. I’ve read: Eckert Tolle’s A New Earth. Currently reading: Shefali Tsabary’s The Awakened Family.
