Don’t hesitate to buy your tickets to Two River Theater’s production of August Wilson’s Radio Golf! Directed by Brandon J. Dirden, it’s set in 1997 Pittsburgh and stars a dynamic cast that’ll have you sitting in your seat wondering what’s going to happen next.
Radio Golf centers around real-estate developer Harmond Hicks revitalizing the Hill District, only to uncover a revelation that interferes with his attempt to become the first black mayor of Pittsburgh. While there’s an undeniable serious tone surrounding the story, which stars Wayne DeHart, Amber Iman, Nathan James, Carl Hendrick Louis, and Robbie Williams, there’s a fair amount of comedy sprinkled in by DeHart’s character.
We stopped by opening night on Friday, March 6, so check out all of our photos below and video above. Radio Golf will be running at Two River Theater now through March 22.
