“Lisa Kron pulls off the impossible,” says the New Yorkerabout 2.5 Minute Ride, an award-winning solo performance that interweaves her father’s history as a child of the Holocaust with her family’s annual trip to an amusement park in Ohio. Written and performed by one of the most remarkable storytellers in the American theater, 2.5 Minute Ride is a poignant, funny, complex, and uplifting meditation on tragedy, grief, and family.

Philip Rosenberg previously designed My Wonderful Dayat Two River Theater. Off Broadway credits include Cactus Flower. Regional credits include: Kennedy Center, La Jolla Playhouse, Ford’s Theatre, The Guthrie Theater, The Old Globe, TheatreWorks, Hartford Stage, Huntington Theatre Company, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Manhattan School of Music, Portland Stage Company, TACT, Barrington Stage Company, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Dorset Theatre Festival, Bay Street Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, George Street Playhouse, and Westport Country Playhouse. Over the past 12 years Philip has served as associate lighting designer on over 35 Broadway plays and musicals.

Darron L West

Darron L West is a Tony and Obie Award-winning sound designer whose work has been heard in more than 500 productions nationally and internationally. Other accolades include the 2012 Princess Grace Statue and Lortel, AUDELCO and Henry Hewes Awards. He is a founding member of Anne Bogart’s SITI Company and former Resident Sound Designer for Actors Theatre of Louisville.

Dan Froot
Dan Froot is a performance artist, writer, composer, dancer, and saxophonist. He received a New York Dance & Performance Award (a.k.a. BESSIE) for his music/theater work Seventeen Kilos of Garlic and a City of Los Angeles Artist Fellowship for his gangster-vaudeville, Shlammer. Dan’s music concerts, theater pieces, and performance events have been presented across the U.S. and overseas by leading art centers. He has composed numerous scores for dance and theater companies, and has taught performance workshops around the country. He is an Associate Professor at UCLA’s Department of World Arts and Cultures while he continues to create and tour his work.
