Back for its 12th year, Two River’s most popular education program transports you to an enchanted island where anything is possible. A Little Shakespeare presents an abridged version of the Bard’s bewitching tale, directed and designed by theater professionals and performed and supported backstage by high school students.

Noelle Marion

Noelle Marion (Adaptor / Director) is grateful to return to Two River Theater after having Associate Directed their Fall 2023 production of Hair.  Noelle is a director, performer, educator, and theatre-maker originally from Los Angeles, CA.  Favorite Directing credits include: Escape to Margaritaville (Moonlight), Cinderella (Moonlight), Spamalot (The Welk Resort), Nunsense (The Welk Resort), The Addams Family (The Welk Resort), Freaky Friday (SDMT), Beauty and the Beast (High Street Arts), and The Wizard of Oz (Moorpark PAC).  Associate Directing credits include: Hair (Two River Theater), The Merry Wives of Windsor (The Old Globe), Under a Baseball Sky (The Old Globe), Cabaret (Goodspeed Opera House), Dr. Suess’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (The Old Globe), Hair (The Old Globe), Hurricane Diane (The Old Globe), and Tiny Beautiful Things (The Old Globe).  As an educator, Noelle is passionate about fostering individuality and imagination in young artists, and strives to encourage creatives of all ages to celebrate what makes them unique.  Proud member of SDC and AEA.

Associate Director

Bailey Dumlao
Bailey Dumlao

Bailey Dumlao (Associate Director) (he/they) is a proud Filipino-American director, cat person, and multi-hyphenate artist hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, and currently based out of New Jersey. They like plays that explode with the fortitude of the human spirit and elevate underrepresented voices. Assistant Directing credits include Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Asolo Repertory Theatre), the world premieres of Tony Meneses’ A Thousand Maids, Hansol Jung’s Romeo and Juliet, Kate Hamill’s The Scarlet Letter, and Mando Alvarado’s Living & Breathing, as well as productions of Two Sisters and a Piano, Hair, and August Wilson’s Gem of the Ocean (Two River Theater). Directing credits include SENSATION (Theatre Q), Lewiston/Clarkston, Significant Other, the southeastern premiere of Martyna’ Majok’s Sanctuary City, and the world premiere of Lindsay Partain’s The Way You Made Me (University of Alabama at Birmingham).

Somie Pak (Costume Designer) is a New York City based costume designer and wardrobe stylist for theatre, film, and tv. Recent select design credits include: Burning Man: The Musical, Estella Scrooge (Silver Telly Award Winner), Mary Stuart (Henry Hewes Award Nominee), Mélange (MTV/Logo).
