Elephant Shoes
Cy is a deaf tech developer who is brilliant at finding the words for everything, except the ones that matter most. So when his best friend Chris falls for Roxy, Cy does what comes naturally: he becomes the voice behind every message, every perfect line, every moment that makes Roxy fall harder. The only problem? Cy is falling too. In a world built on instant translation, the hardest words are still the ones you have to say for yourself. Elephant Shoes asks what you do when the most important thing you've ever said isn't yours to say.

Celebrate Juneteenth in style at Brunch en Blanc, a vibrant community gathering presented by Two River Theater in collaboration with the T. Thomas Fortune Cultural Center!
CODA Film Screening
Academy Award-winning film CODA comes to Two River Theater and the Count Basie Center for the Arts for a free screening and talkback. Following the screening, audience members are invited to stay for a conversation with star of the film and Elephant Shoes cast member Daniel Durant, who played Leo Rossi in the film.

Inside Two River is a series of arts and humanities events—specially curated for each of our productions. Multiple events take place each month and most are free. Events include: book club discussions, craft nights, film screenings, social events, open rehearsals, poetry readings and more.
